You might believe that it”d be your lucky day if you seen an adorable small sea lion on the road…but in San Francisco, it”s become something of an issue. Many sea lion pups are discovered on land, either from some other type of illness or malnourishment but mostly because of warmer water temperatures that restrict food availability.

Rubbish, the two time saving case, was caught on Thursday morning by saving officers.

The Marine Mammal Center had treated Rubbish nursing him back to health after a spell of pneumonia.

This time he just weighed 13 pounds, when compared with the 30 he weighed when he was rehabilitated before in the year.

Veterinarians are looking into whether or not there”s something more serious wrong with Rubbish, but for now he”s safe at the Marine Mammal Center.

He”ll be cared for until he”s prepared to return into the wild hopefully for good this time.
